Leeds City Council’s executive member for Infrastructure and Climate, Councillor Helen Hayden, was interviewed earlier this evening by BBC Look North presenter Phil Bodmer. Councillor Hayden spoke about the council’s decision to approve the airport’s planning application to expand, the need for the government to have a policy on airport expansion in the UK, and the need for funding.
